Connecting to Mother Nature Through Earthing

The average person spends more time indoors being isolated from the earth by walls, windows, flooring, and even our shoes.

Countless studies have proven that being in direct contact with “earth” has so many mental and physical health benefts.

So what is earthing and how do you do it?

Simply put, earthing is when we make direct contact with the surface of the earth.

To do this, you go out with your bare hands and feetĀ  and walk on the earth, sit on the earth, touch the earth for an instant recharge or energy and well being.

Go outside and walk barefoot in the grass, dirt or even on sidewalks if you don’t have any other area to do so.

Sit under a tree and read a book or just admire nature. Listen to the sounds and take it all in.

Earthing appears to extinguish the flames through the transfer of negatively-charged electrons from the surface of the Earth into the body where they neutralize positively-charged destructive free radicals involved in chronic inflammation.

The Earth’s energy makes the ground beneath our feet an extremely effective and abundant antioxidant!

And it’s free. No pills, no prescriptions.

All you have to do is reconnect.

Other studies have shown that earthing helps to de-stress, relieves symptoms of depression or anxiety, and has a balancing effect on the central nervous system.
